Hair and makeup inquiries:

Is there a minimum to book my event?

The starting package is for the Brides hair, makeup, and one additional service on the wedding day. This Package also includes the brides trial. If there are no additional services needed on the wedding day the package price still remains the same due to the minimum booking requirement.  


Why is there an additional fee for an assistant?

I take a lot of pride in the respect I have for my fellow colleagues and what they do. I need to guarantee them as well as myself our minimum day rate. The additional fee guarantees their day rate, which allows me to book them for your day.


What are the prices to book my wedding?

Packages start at 800.00 for the brides hair, makeup (on the wedding day), and trial run plus one additional service on the wedding day. 


Do you travel to the location for my wedding?

Yes. If your wedding is within 10 miles of my location, travel is included in your price. If I am traveling farther than 10 miles, there is an additional travel fee. Please inquire for the additional fee.


Do I need to put down a deposit to book my wedding?

Yes, you will be charged for half of the services booked to reserve your day.


When am I responsible for paying the balance?

Your final balance is due the day of your event.


How do I pay for my deposit and final balance?

Cash or check is my preferred method for the particular payment. However, I can accept credit card payments for an additional 3% fee.


If I book my wedding at a hotel, am I responsible for paying your parking?

Yes. If I have to park downtown, I will valet and charge parking to your room.


Does my makeup include false eyelashes?

Absolutely! My favorite part of a makeup application is a beautiful set of individual lashes that will be customized to your eye for a flawless finish


Do the additional makeup applications purchased (bridesmaids, mothers) include false eyelashes?

Yes, each person who purchases a makeup application receives beautiful individual lashes.


Do you use airbrush?

I do not offer airbrush application at this time. I am very confident and happy with using multiple products and brushes to create a flawless finish.


Are you licensed in hair and makeup?

Yes, Austie Eckley is licensed in both hair and aesthetics.


Can my trial runs be included in my day off  minimum if I book A la carte?

Unfortunately your day-of services are separate from you trial runs because your trial runs are on a separate day.


What is the price for a trial run?

Trial runs are generally for the brides only, unless otherwise discussed. Please inquire for packaging and A la carte pricing. 


Can I do a trial run if I have not booked my wedding yet?

If you want a trial before you book your wedding with me the fee for the trial is more than if you are a booked bride. Additionally, please note you run the risk of losing your date because a deposit is the only way to guarantee your date. If you book your wedding after the trial run, the additional charge will be added toward your final balance.


Is my trial run cost refundable?

Your trial run is a service and is not refundable. It is very important you arrive to your appointment with examples of what you want and to be honest throughout the trial run process so that we can create the perfect look for you.


If I want an additional trial run, am I responsible to pay the fee again?

Yes. Your trial run is designed to create the perfect look for your day. It is very important to arrive to your appointment prepared and to make sure you are happy with your look before you leave.


Can anyone get a trial run?

 Trial runs are for brides only, unless otherwise discussed. 


Shop - General Policies and Questions

How long after I order will I receive my item?

Every piece is delicately handmade with love by Austie Eckley and will ship within 2-4 weeks after your order has been placed. (Please see each item description for details as to when that item will be ready to ship.) Arrival times will vary depending on where I am shipping the items. If the item is being shipped within the U.S., please allow two weeks for shipping. If outside of the U.S., please allow up to 1½ months due to customs. When the item ships, I will provide a confirmation email with your tracking information and estimated arrival time.


Can I place a rush order?

Rush orders can be done for an additional $25 fee, and will ship in five days. You can also purchase Priority or Express shipping for faster delivery. Please inquire if you are in need of a rush order.


Can I create a custom piece?

If you are interested in a custom order, shape adjustment, or color change please inquire. There may be a small fee for custom items.


Are all Austie Eckley pieces unique?

All of our items are handmade, and almost always completely hand-beaded. Each piece will vary slightly due to its beautiful hand-crafted production. Flowers are almost always hand-cut, dyed, and pressed for a high-end finish.


What if my item gets lost or stolen?

Unfortunately, we have no control over what happens once your item leaves our hands. Austie Eckley is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages. We recommend you purchase shipping insurance. Please inquire about how to do so when you place your order.


I am an international customer. What do I need to know?

I have experienced extended wait times shipping internationally, and I recommend you order at least two months before you need your item. We will not be responsible for late arrival of orders purchased within two months of the event date, as customs can create delays.


What is your return and exchange policy?

Every Austie Eckley piece is made to order and completely handmade with love for each customer. Unfortunately, we cannot offer returns or exchanges at this time.


Do you sell gift certificates?

We would love to sell you a gift certificate for that special person. Please inquire if you are interested.
